Okay, now I'm scared. Nothing must happen or I'll die.
missing you
The pirates have returned. So has Captain Jack Sparrow. Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Man's Chest is a must-watch!! The ending was a little crappy though cos it was just a cliff hanger leading on to the next movie =X Remember to stay for after the subtitles, just like X-Men3. Lol. Some, or maybe most people, left once the lights turned on. Too bad for them. Anyway, Johnny Depp's acting was goooood! And I definitely won't mind buying the DVD when it comes out.
Wanted to watch in Orchard, but in the end the queue for tickets was crazy and most the earlier timings on the screen were flashing red. If anyone doesn't know what the red thing means, it means that the tickets are sold out. And the next show was at 1900. Late late. So, mrt-ed all the way to Northpoint just to catch the show and thank goodness they had one at 1640. Cool. It was worthwhile making the effort to train back where I started off in the morning. Okay, maybe not where I started off but two stops away from where I started off. So my displacement is 2 stops? Yeah. Travelled all the way to town and back again. Lol.
Sigh, a few more days and I'll be back in the blistering, cold weather. Nooo! I want my sunshine, my warmth, my humidity (not so much of this though). I don't want to freeze my butt off in College Square every night. But at least there's summer to look forward to. Oh, but there's the flies. Bummer. How can people actually stand living in a place where when it's cold, there's no snow (not fun) and when it's hot, there are millions of flies trying to irritate the hell out of you.
Today was a hot day, I reckon. Had to switch on the air-conditioner midday. Usually the air-conditioner is only switched on after dinner. Interesting day it was today. Haha. Somehow happy, but sad, so I say. Couldn't stomach any dinner today. Stomach was rejecting anything going down the gullet. Hence, the gullet was rejecting anything going down the gullet. Therefore, everything was just stuck in my mouth for a long, long time. Only the plain, white rice tasted normal. The rest tasted weird. But I inferred that the food was good. Everyone at the table was eating like scavengers. Haha. Surprisingly, I ain't hungry now. Only ate a prawn, a small piece of Tou Kwa, a small piece of chicken and some greens. Wonder how did all that fill my humongous stomach. Lol. Maybe I'm gonna die soon. Bye world.
The past few days after the previous post wasn't that bad. Saturday was *coughcough* quite a good day. Haha. That was so random. Lol. The only bad thing so far was that Italy won the World Cup. What on earth?! But oh well, it's over. Hurhur. I still think France should have won.
Went on a short shopping trip with mom today. Nothing much to buy except the stuff were all at half price! Haha. Was quite a good bargain.
Have been spending my morning car trips doing Sudoku :) It's really fun actually. Cracks my brain up. Haha. Good thing TODAY has one everyday except for Sundays when there's no paper for that day.
Meeting 5torm tomorrow again! Yay! =D Hope it'll be fun.
Today, or rather yesterday, was such a shitty day. Thank goodness I met up with Meow, Qian, Wq and Yw, if not, you'll see my lifeless body sprawled at the foot of some random HDB flat. Or maybe jumping in front of an on-coming MRT train would be fun.
She definitely asks me weird questions. Can't she just shut her trap and not rub it in? Just leave me in my peace and quiet.I bet she wanted me to reflect anyway. She should be thankful that I just rebutted and stood up for my own rights. There were so many knives waiting behind me. And no, I didn't want a bloody scene in the middle of town.
Okay, so I let the matter rest. But no, she had to repeat it over and over again. My day was like a burger. Bread, meat, bread. The meat is usually deemed as the best part and obviously, the best part of the day was going out with my friends. As for the bread, it's quite obvious what it represents. She took the last few minutes of the day to lash back at me. Hasn't she had enough of it before I went out?
If she's pinning high hopes on me, I'd say, give up. If she thinks I'm making the household poorer, I'm happy to come back. There are two others in the queue anyway to pin her hopes on.
I hope she leaves me in peace tomorrow. Peace within my four white walls. Apparently, she wants them to be my friends.
Rarr. I thought England and Brazil would win! Ugh. England was sooo crappy! I felt it was a waste of time watching the match last night. But it was worth making a trip down to Karen Jie Jie's house because only she had SCV. But no, that's not the best part. The best part was that we got to play with Garfield and Oldie! Those two are sooo cute! (They are her cats by the way). Oldie at one point of time was jumping at the TV during the soccer match. Haha. Too bad I didn't bring my camera.
Oh yes, there are two new additions to the family household! This is quite old news but I only feel like blogging about it now. But sadly, one was subtracted and now is only plus one. Well, one of the fishes gave birth to tiny weeny fishies! And there are loads of them populating the pond. And that mother fish ain't that huge either. Wonder where all of them came from. The babies are like populating the whole pond. They look a little Koi-ish but heck, they aren't. It'll be so exciting if they were Kois. Anyway, the other new addition was subtracted this morning. Stupid cat. Stray cat, I mean. Not just any other cat. There was actually a bird nest near the study room window and the eggs hatched not too long ago. But somehow, the mother bird didn't come back to feed it's babies. So mom and I went worm-hunting that day to feed them. But on this fateful, Sunday morning, the nest was found scattered on the floor with no little birds in sight. And the only thing at the scene of murder was that blasted cat. Grrr. So the main suspect is the black and white cat which looks really ugly and lazes around in our garden. Thank goodness it hasn't gone fishing yet. Now the tiny little cutie things are gone. Ahh, I do miss them after seeing them for the last 3 days. Sigh. I've decided that I ain't going to be friendly with that cat anymore. Hmph.
But I'm happy that I've met up with a few people so far. Mainly Meow, Qian, Weiqi, Nicole, Ben, Hh, Ty, Chor Ing, Chor Han, Leslie, Livia and Tammy! Yay! And tomorrow there's supposedly this OCF dinner thing. Double yay! Yesterday was quite a good day. Went to help out for the Melbourne Uni Pre-departure briefing. Made new friends, saw a senior, overall it was fulfilling. Probably cos I really had nothing to do and doing something meant a great deal. Haha. Can't believe how propaganda College Square can get. Oh well. Good luck to those staying there, hope they're smart enough to move out after their first year.
Went out with Tammy last Monday (methinks). Ate Crystal Jade. Hehe. That girl gets hungry so fast mann. Didn't spot her at the MRT at first cos she was wearing a suit! Can't wait for that day to come mann. Graduation seems so far away. But it was a good outing (: Then met up with Youthfire (those who were in Singapore) to pick Chor Ing up at the airport. Hope she's having fun in Africa. (= The only thing I'm looking forward to back in Melbourne is Youthfire and OCF. No way to uni. Uni sucks big time.
Apparently, I haven't booked my ticket back to Melbourne yet. How smart ya. And school fees are due really soon. I hate it when I have to tell dad about how much he must pay for this and that and this and that. Ugh. It's daylight robbery! Anyway, dad sort of wants me to drop a degree. Oh wells. I don't know actually. If I eventually do drop one, then I'd probably drop Commerce. I know it's stupid. People usually drop the other degree if they're doing combined degrees with Commerce. Sigh. I'm weird okay. But well, that's my decision for if I do drop one. But for now, maybe I shall just persevere on with two. Even Desmond says I should do one :( Oh well. See how it goes.
Okay shall stop for now. Till next time.
Shock. Bloodshed. Pain. Tears. Anxiety. All these sums up what happened yesterday morning. Thank God I'm still alive. Everything seemed so real, like what you will see on some Mediacorp drama serial. But in fact, everything was real. I must have looked like a psycho who couldn't control her actions and what was coming out of her mouth. My fingers looked like claws gripping on to mom's hand. I curled up into a fetal position to hide away from that disgusting iodine-like thing. I think my tear ducts were operating really well. The doctor was useless. The X-ray room was depressing even though there were nice little cute pictures pasted on the wall. I felt like a prisoner as the X-ray machine light flashed in front of my face minus the whole ID number and striped uniform issue. Front portraits, side portraits. Was waiting for a back, but none came. She pressed my face against the cold, hard, metal thing. If she didn't realise, it was painful. Now my nose is numb and I can't feel anything if I touch it. Maybe it hurts till it doesn't hurt anymore.
Anyway, met Meow, Weiqi and Qian on Wednesday. Yay! Haven't seen them for sooo long. They brought their siblings along (except Qian, of course) and so De came along. Didn't do much though, just walked around town and ate lunch at HobNob.
Slept for four hours this afternoon and I'm tired already. I'm becoming lazy lazy lazy. My life is just eating and sleeping. Today I woke up in time for lunch and went back to sleep after that. When I opened my eyes, it was dark already and I was just in time for dinner. Yayness.
Maybe I should go Maple now. Aquilia is ALWAYS full in the afternoon. Early morning is the best time to go in. Woohoo. Hopefully my eyelids do not give way soon.
